No matter how you say it...hello and welcome! I am thrilled and excited that you found your way to my place on the internet!
Born and raised in Louisiana, I am a laid-back, down-home type of girl. A 2018 graduate of Nicholls State University and received my Masters in Education from LSU @ Shreveport In 2021.
I juggle many titles: single mother, caretaker, special education teacher, Justice of the Peace, Soror, and board member of a non-profit agency for individuals with intellectual disabilities (whew).
The idea for One Hot Mess Mama, was born after someone shared with me that they thought I had it all together. My reply was, "Follow me around for a day, I'm a hot mess!" At best, I am a novice when it comes to this writing thing, but I find it to be extremely therapeutic.
My hope for this blog is that as I share my life with you, it inspires you, makes you laugh out loud, and that in those lonely moments you know that you are not alone! I am excited about this journey and am grateful to have you along for the ride!
